Woomelang Men’s Shed

The Woomelang Men’s Shed is located in the Old Woomelang Courthouse at the corner of Brook and Proctor Streets – see Google Maps for the location.

We’re still in full operation! We meet three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

As you read about us, take a look at a few of the projects we’ve completed – more photos coming soon!

All the people of Woomelang are welcome to join, or just to drop in for a chat and a cup of coffee. (You are also welcome to bring cake.)

Although it is a Men’s Shed, the ladies of Woomelang are also welcome to join us and learn the safe operation of basic electrical tools and so on.

One member is a qualified Test and Tag trained person and will check any basic electrical item for a minor donation to the shed “tea and coffee” jar.

The Shed meets its requirements to assist the WDDA Committee where they can, remembering that they are all volunteers and not exactly young any more, but they will help within their own training and physical capacities.

The members have a variety of experience between them and have completed many different tasks for the community as well as their own individual projects.

The Shed also has a great collection of tools and equipment available for use by the members in the manufacture, repair and restoration projects that they are asked to do.

The current contact for the Shed is Colin Antony on 0412 559 974.
