If you wander by the General Store in the next week or so, you’ll see that Andrew Bourke, renowned street artist Sirum1, is transforming the outer wall into a work of art.
Once the artwork is complete, the shelter is arriving; before Christmas, we’ll have a wonderful outdoor seating and eating area for townsfolk and visitors to enjoy, with off-street parking right beside it.
Here are some pics – the work is unfolding gradually, and I promise it’ll be a stunner when he’s done! We’ll post more pics as work progresses.
Thanks go to Marianne Ferguson from the Yarriambiack Shire, and her untiring work to help us develop our town – and to the WDDA, whose members work really hard to make our town attractive, great to live in and enticing to visitors.
